It's in the contract, Brah. You think the company isn't going to use it if it's available?

I agree "brah". Thinking 44 Magnum=GiggityGoo=Policywonk, myself.
As if FedEx pilots are staying up nights worrying about the horror of lie flat seats in coach. As if they even commonly exist. As if we can't deviate and fly on whom we choose (in over twenty years, I've flown on hundreds of deadhead flights and went as scheduled perhaps two times). Oh no, having nightmares about this!
It could happen, it really could. One day I might have to fly in coach, noooooo!! Nah, think I'll just deviate and fly on someone else. Okay, I'm pampered, I admit it. I need first or business class, good wine, movies, and a comfortable seat. Plus, no babies, toddlers, sniffers, shufflers, farters, or gum smackers. Why didn't we get all that in the TA, anyways?

I'm not too savvy on the multi-quote thing, but...
1. Internal NURPs flying revenue lines?
Yes, this is a huge point of contention, I was assured this will be addressed in the T/A
2. A training department void of line pilots?
While we would like 100% of the training and checking, we do currently have 75% of "surge" (vacancy bid) and 25% of recurrent training. We have zero checking. I was assured this will be addressed in the T/A as well.
3. Flying on your own jumpseats to work and back vice a commercial deadhead?
I look forward to seeing improvements in this area.
4. Furloughing 200+ pilots for several years?
It was 109 for several years. After Flight 6 the company halted the furlough.
This is a great job with great IPA people. I think there is good and bad with every carrier. I have run into many great Fedex and Delta guys on the road and have had great discussions comparing the carriers. I think our management structure is the most hostile of all the carriers, but as time goes by, I see that same management philosophy slow trickling into boardrooms around the world.

What does this mean? In regards to the Cold Company deadheads? It's either Zero Company mandated Deadheading or it doesn't. Please tell us what you mean? Because most at the IPA have their collective heads in the Sand on this issue. Apathy prevails!
The problem I see, is that the NC and EB don't really care about this issue. Which is total BS imo.
