How do bid awards work when the current bid is not trained out yet? I hold a bid award under 15-01 with training scheduled for spring of next year. The bid announced today has vacancies in the seat I am awaiting training for. Does the new bid just replace the current bid or does it start training after the current one is completed?
Just trying to figure out if my training date can be slid backwards based on someone senior to me bidding to the seat I am waiting for. |
16-01 awardees trained in seniority order normally after previous awardees so they can't jump in front of you on the training letter unless a swap occurs or whatever finagling Staffing wants to do. YMMV.

The really sad part is that I bet 90% of the folks are so focused on upgrade that they don't even realize how the company just STUCK it to us in the 6. Once upon a time the company philosophy was that we needed to be BETTER than the competition and that customers would pay for our superior service. In recent years it seems like reducing costs and increasing investors returns have become a big (biggest?) priority. Across the board cost cutting seems to be taking it's toll on our reliability and morale. Previous wet leasing experiments proved they simply weren't as reliable as having Purple Pilots flying Purple Freight.
