I can understand why a pilot, renting a single bed, while having to share a bedroom wouldn't really want to have to share that room with another guy, unless of course he's ex-Navy. Especially on an on-going basis, like his entire month. Who would like to have to listen to another guys snoring or passing gas. Most reserve guys, I'd believe, would be ok with that, on a part-time basis, with another reserve guy. But to have to know that you'll both be there, every day that you're there, could be too much. That's why a lot of owners, would specify a lower rate for reserve guys as opposed to guys who would be there, their whole month. As well, utilities could add up if someone lived there full time, and since the owner is probably paying the utilities, it would make sense to pass that cost along to the full time tenant, by asking a higher rent.

I'll be in the June 7th Indoc class and am looking for a crash pad/room for at least those two weeks. Also would be interested to hear if someone has a house to rent out as I know a few other folks in that class that are looking as well. Thanks
