FDX Pilots Sue Alpa

That's why the lawsuit is going to court, to argue the point of fact and find out the truth.
I was initially against it also, but from reading the brief, I think they bring up a lot of legitimate questions that need to be answered and I doubt Alpa will answer them without being forced to

or if only they'd read the SLB discussion-might've realized that no, not every single pilot would hit the buyback parameters

"(d) ALPA intentionally or recklessly misrepresented the Sick Leave Buyback available to the FedEx pilots. Specifically, ALPA represented that the maximum Sick Leave Buyback would be available to all FedEx pilots, when in fact the maximum value was only available to a minority, and some FedEx pilots would be completely ineligible."
In regards to the above: Ever seen this document?
Attachment 2846
It clearly states that the most a NB Capt could receive is about $75K. All the way down to $0 for an NB F/O. This document was prominently posted on the ALPA MEC website well before the vote.

Busdriver12,
There is additional evidence not listed in the Complaint which supports the allegations.
We are in the process of discovery with ALPA and exchanging documents. We've requested a large amount of information from ALPA which would not have been otherwise available to the pilot group.

CloudSailor,
I want to dispel the rumor that you state below. None of the 4 name plaintiffs sued the Company over 4.A.2.b.
To note, one of our MEC Chairman stated in a video that we later discovered that the Company was not over manned during 4.A.2.b (the Company had stated this as a reason for implementing 4.A.2.b)
