No, I wish they did. I figured that the 767 type would at least help but with the hiring being 3rd party they know as little as I do. Would love to get the chance and welcome everyones thoughts. Thanks

Honestly, I don't have a good way to get to the top of the stack. Definitely get recommendations from your friends. I don't think they have the weight they should, but they certainly won't hurt.

Keep updating. If you volunteer for HKG and CGN, it may help. While these assignments may not be ideal (maybe they are), but it at least gets your foot in the door.

Good luck!

What about FedEx hiring involves a "third party"?

I have heard that there are services that review your application for errors that the computer will kick out. Does anyone know if this indeed an option and who offers this service?

Emerald Coast. For all your interview/application needs.

I didn't do the app review but used the prep and it worked well!

I used Centerline Interview Consulting. For $99 we reviewed Airline Apps and Pilot Creds. Combed over both apps and help refine the product. I thought it was well worth the money. Don't forget you can write off almost anything during the job hunt. I had nearly $2k in 2015 for job fair fees, airline tickets, hotel room, rental car, app review, Airline App fee, new suit. I'll have a few bucks to write off this year with FedEx ticket and hotel and Delta hotel. FedEx doesn't pay you for any travel.

BL: fork out the cash to make yourself and more importantly your app look spotless. It's worth it!

Moose, how long were you at SW? How does the flexibility compare?

How hard to drop down days worked per month?

Also, what's average monthly work day totals on MEM wide body fleet vs 757?

Comparing WB vs 757 isn't going to tell you much. Since a significant amount of WB flying is in the domestic system just like the 757, they end up being the same. Any disparity in days off is going to occur in the 777 versus the other fleets. This is based on the consistent over 12 hour long haul flying the 777 does and the structure of the 777 pairings.

So, across the company - all domiciles, all fleets (except 777), the average days off for line-holders are within .5 of each other.
28 day month - 14 days off
35 day month - 18 days off
(so, ~ 180 work days per year)

777
28 day month - 16 days off
35 day month - 21 days off
(~ 152 work days per year)

As an average 777 F/O line holder, you'll probably average 25-28 more days off per year than all but the top 10-20% on any other fleet.
