I don't think we will see him rescuing any more flags in uniform. Glad he was able to do it once!
+1 on the donation link. |
From Steve Miller
Some folks have said they'd like to contribute, but couldn't find this info buried as a response in a prior post so I'm making it a standalone post. At this time I've received about $2,500 through PayPal. It's too soon for checks to have arrived. I have established the: "Friends of the Flag Trust Fund for the Benefit of Matthew S Uhrin" You can contribute by mailing a check, made out to "Stephen C. Miller IOLTA account" (an attorney trust fund account) to my office: Stephen C. Miller, Esquire 113 N. Olive St. Media, PA 19063 Or, if you'd like to pay via PayPal, go to this link: https://paypal.me/friendsofmattu If presented the option (phone app v. Computer versions of PayPal vary), select "friends or family" as a recipient so there is no merchant fee charged and quicker transfer of the funds. All funds raised will be held in trust and donated to Matt either as cash, as a gift, or in a manner determined by the trustees. Should Matt be unwilling or unable to accept the proceeds of the trust, they will be donated at Matt's direction; or if Matt fails to provide such direction, to a charity of the trustees' choosing, consistent with the motivation of the creation of this trust: the support of citizens protecting the American flag. No funds shall be used for administration, fees, or any purpose other than to the benefit of Matt. The Trustees shall be a committee of three to five individuals, each with equal say in the administration of the trust. Trustees may be added or removed by petition of the potential/trustee and approval by any other then trustee. The trustees are: Stephen C. +1 on the donation link. He's not getting canned if that's what you're talking about. FedEx put out a statement yesterday, "no change in employment status". Now go throw the guy a few bucks. |
