There are 160 - MEM 767 FO slots and another 30 - HKG on the 19-01 Vacancy. That’s before secondaries for guys vacating the seat. The company anticipates training 8-12 per month for MEM 767 FO.

In what scenario is this possible? The Vacancy is open for guys currently on property that can move as they wish as long as there’s a slot for them.

Unless they are subject to a bid restriction. I’m guessing with this many vacancies the position will not reach max staffing with pilots currently on property and we will see new hires into 767 in 2019.

The only punishment is the slot penalty pay.

I gotcha now. You’re just saying they’ll send New Hires to Training ahead of the other guys that get it on the Vacancy. Much like they did the 777 in 18-01.

MEM 76 FO is only filled to the 70% mark on today’s Practice Award. So yes, it does appear that the 76 will be available to New Hires this year. Just no telling when the company will opt to give it to New Hires and when they’ll use those awarded the seat on this Vacancy.

Question Cologne Expectations?

Hey just wondering on how easy it is to get to CGN? Im thinking of the possibility of doing it the second or third year? is it easy to with to different airframes if not a 757/767 to start out?

thanks

CGN is currently just a 757 domicile. System bids only happen once a year, so there is no telling if it will be available when you want to go.
