The flyer they are sending out says new hires have to pick a Project Lift base. Does that mean new hires have to relocate to a Project Lift base? Curious how that is working for new hires....

I believe every pilot is required to be assigned to a Project Lift base currently so you're commuting to that base to start your rotation, regardless of if you're a new hire or not.

Everyone is required to choose a Project Lift base (normally closest available). Flexjet will arrange the rental car if you need to drive and you are on the "clock". Sometime there is an airplane closer to home. There is no requirement to live or move to a PL base. PBS isn't being utilized currently. Anticipated to last thru August but depends on COVID situation.
