Vaccine policies

What is the current vaccine and or mask policy for pilots? I don’t have any contacts in 91K or 121…..

thx

At Flexjet, it’s highly encouraged, but not required for employment.

Non Vaxed have to test before each trip (company pays for testing- it’s an at home saliva test that you mail in)

And it’s pretty much required for the Gulfstream program.

Is that because only the un-vaxxed can get and spread covid?

What happens if someone sends in their test, starts their trip, then it comes back positive after a day two of the trip, does the covid only start spreading from them after the positive test results are received?

I think other than the super woke UAL and AS, most of 121 has basically given up on vaccine mandates due to there being enough of a resistance and the vaccines being proven to be ineffective at best, and dangerous at worse. The masks are gone as well in 121.

Highly encouraged but not required for employment.

Obviously required for Canadian entry and by a large minority of our owners who now have it in their crew notes that vax is required. Have flown a few who required negative rapid tests in addition to vax prior to their arrival at the airplane but their security details have handled that, not the company.

If you're still unvaccinated you're required to test prior to each rotation but I'm not sure the logistics behind how that happens.

Thankfully I'm 'woke' enough to not have to worry about that. Somehow the most dangerous part of my vaccination process has been listening to the non-vaccinated pilots tell me how dangerous the vaccine is on a constant basis. At least my 5G coverage has never been better while I pretend to listen to them complain about something they won't do. Win some and lose some, I guess.

Thanks for the info.

You get an email 5 days before you start your rotation to do the test. You have to have a negative test before you leave on your trip.

FUNNY thing is, the VP of the BS program and company’s biggest injection pusher, just got the cold or flu called covid being fully poked.

You have to have the results before you start your rotation.

While I have your ear, in general is the vaccine push staying the same, ramping up, or ramping down?
