Not sure if you can see the picture I posted but quite a few 4 day lines were out in the system. I got my 5th choice which was a 7/7 line.

no, those schedules are from PBS. I bid for those combinations. 14-16 days total for the 28 day bid period is what I bid from. And I do combinations of 6/6, 7/7. It’s easier to talk someone through the process of bidding but you can get 7/7, 6/6 easily if you set yourself up right in the PBS system. 3-5 day lines are mainly given to guys who live in green bases. If you live in Dallas those lines are easier to get.

4 day lines may exist that doesn't mean you'll be awarded them and you should not plan to work 4 day lines at FX even out of a green base.

thanks for clearing that up. I’m fairly new and I’m still figuring this PBS system out. I mostly do 6 and 7 day lines. I have buddies doing 5 day lines and bid 13 days total for the period.

It is not difficult and they send out tons of information to help you learn how to bid. You pick the best line bids that might work for you and your family and the preferential portion is Flexjet picks what’s best for their schedule.

When I bid I first start out with 16 days total worked for the bid period and filter through the lines for the 16 day total worked. I filter them to have 6 days worked followed by 6 days off. I do the same for 7 days worked and 7 days off. I then go to 15 day lines and filter all those to my preferences and then 14?day lines. 7 and 7 is easier with a 14 day line and there seems to be more of those available. You set yourself up by giving yourself some time off at the end of your bid period. And use those days off as lead in days off into your next bid cycle. You’ll then be able to find those nicer lines. It’s easier explained with the system right in front of you so I could walk you through. I’ve been helping some buddies with the PBS and they’ve been happy with their schedules. I had one friend that was upset that I got him too many days off in a row haha.

This is fantastic gouge! If you don’t mind, I’ll shoot you a PM in a couple weeks after I start to maybe dig into it a little more. Thank you!!
