How long is upgrade?

which aircraft is quickest? Can you choose what fleet you want before starting?

The phenom is the quickest upgrade (around 8 months).

You may get asked your preference but they will give you what they want. Whatever aircraft you get though, you can still upgrade in the Phenom once your seniority can hold it. Upgrade in the challenger and praetor is around 18 months.

I've seen the payscales and estimated year one FO pay, what's a reasonable assumption for take home once upgraded onto Phenom / Praetor / Challenger after 2 years with company? Is it comparable to Legacy FO?

Hi, what’s the junior CA DOH now? Is upgrade time still climbing?

Any fleet awarded as a new hire can upgrade to CA in the Phenom in about 8 months, if you chose to bypass that upgrade it takes about 2 years to get Praetor or Challenger CA upgrade.

Can anyway give a ballpark annual $ for Phenom CA assuming yr 1

I’ll be a year 3 captain in February on the Phenom. I made 180k pretty much on the dot the past two years. I’m on PBS and probably average 15 days a month for the year. If you do 8/6 you might be touching 200k. Year one captain probably little over 170 probably if you roll like me, more than me if you do 8/6.

What do the Phenom FO's make?

$130k without bonuses…? Maybe $15k more on an 8/6. I did Flexbid and several months less than 15 days.

You should make more than 150 first year FO pretty much no matter what. Upgrading to Captain gets you almost nothing though on the Phenom, it’s only advisable to take the upgrade if you really want the Gulfstream or are leaving for the airlines eventually.
