Negative. No free internet, no breakfast.

They said it was such a discounted rate they did not provide them.
But, I reported that to the powers that be, and I hope it got changed.

that sucks.

The "Bunker" wasn't the nicest place. But that free breakfast and jogging trail out back made it worthwhile. Plus the fact it was like a minute to the schoolhouse.

The Better Half was hired last month. KP called with an update that class would be in Sept due to sim time shortage on the Challengers, FWIW.

Before the EEOC banter starts, she's a PC Checkairman at her current gig, 3 types (Challenger included, 4K+ in type), 2 checkairman letters, 6000+ turbine, mostly PIC and 4 years as an OE check in the 121 world, with extensive customer service background previous to that. Internal recs helped immensely, and you need to show some kind of customer service experience to break the 121 stereotype, from the sounds of it.

Airline 10 for me, 6 for her. She's been working on them for awhile to get out of the 121 circus. My out was Brown boxes after furlough #4.

Livin' the Dream.

You got the wrong place. I have never heard anybody discuss EEOC junk. Ever.
If she can fly, do all the work to keep the operation running as it should, and be fun to hang out with for 6 days or so, she will fit in just fine.

Tell her "welcome aboard".

Oh, yeah,, she needs to buy the first round!

To all the FJ guys....

What kind of time should you have before applying to FJ?? Do they hire straight into the CL 300 or make you fly a lear first..??

From what I hear, a lot of pilots are getting hired directly into the CL300. That would be great. However, all upgrades proceed through the Lears first. Again, you could do A LOT worse than flying Lear 40/45s or Lear 60s around. Those are nice rides too (albeit a bit tighter up front than the Challengers). The tradeoff: shorter flights in the Lears.

That is not exactly right. You can upgrade on the Challenger if you choose to, the problem is that it'll take about 7 years or so. You don't have to upgrade on the lear, but if you do then the upgrade is about 2 years or so.

they will put you on whatever they have a need for, and right now that need is on the 300. Flexjet is trying to get more people on the northeast. You will need 2500 total, ATP, 500 Turbine, 1st class medical.
