I’ve heard from several PV reps that the FDP proposal was shut down almost immediately. Management’s rhetoric was “well, we’re not NetJets”. Yeah, we know, that’s why pilots leave here to go there and not the other way around. This is gonna get more people in the door, but it won’t fix attrition.
i hadn’t heard they were closed minded about that. But they could still have a plan for covering that gap? I think they are fully aware that if they don’t cover all the gaps in compensation, people will continue to revolve through. I just had lunch with a 16 year former Gulfstream captain who left. He and another Flexjet pilot interviewed at the same time at Southwest and both are gone. And there are how many PRIA requests from Netjets? I’ve heard numbers between 50 and 90 PRIA requests from Netjets alone. Combined with the pause in jet card sales they were forced to implement, I think they know very well what they must do. So let’s not be negative, let’s see.

I’ve flown with several PV guys and they’ve all said FDP is not going to happen. If you look at some 7 day rotations FO’s would make more in FDP pay then their day rate. One specific PV guy (senior DRL) is adamantly against FDP pay because it will push pilots to fly fatigued.

I'm not referring to regional. That takes a different breed of character. The interviews are horrible psychological nightmares of dismay in my opinion in which you are never told where it is you need to improve on or what they are looking for when you get the email 1-2 weeks later. In my opinion it comes across very disrespectful. "After a very difficult decision we have decided to continue with our search... We wish you the best in your job search." You guess you have to work on yourself somewhere with no leads as you take the time to find the next interview to prepare for in question. They know as soon as the interview is over if you are hired or not but wait 1-2 weeks to send some half-hearted e-mail after hours of preparation. I'm over it and was never truthfully into the idea of selling my soul to the military or the airlines. They obviously don't need my help in which I thought they may have. There is just something about having the skills to do a job or task then someone (a company) asks for help in that area but slaps your hand down when you offer your help. What if....? What if....? Well, geez, I must have missed that all in my flight training. You want me to fly for you or answer questions which have no right or wrong answers to but they do? So, I am not gay what if the captain is and starts flirting with me, it goes to the next level and captain starts asking me over to his/her hotel room to convert me after drinking at the hotel bar? I wonder if they ever got this question or anything like it. I believe we should start a sarcastic thread here somewhere with a list of off the wall "what if" questions for companies.
You want jokes??? I'm on your side.
"You quit logging flight time 10 years ago when you hit ATP mins?" Yeah, I got behind because there was no further goal attached. I got a week behind then a month then years. This must say something negative about my character, eh?

Are these the new or old pay scales? Just wanted to make sure I’m understanding what is being shared. Thanks
