Default Coast Flight School in San Diego?

I'm 17 and looking into flight schools for after college. From what I've seen of their website and location Coast looks attractive. Does anyone have any personal accounts or experience with this flight school that they would share?

Not sure if its the training course you want to take but check out plus one flyers flying club. They have a bunch of planes and locations. It'll be much cheaper than the flight academy as well.

Plus one is a good club, and there are a wide variety of instructors available.

But it's generally going to be a bad idea for a prospective career pilot to train in an ad-hoc manner at a club/FBO that does not have a set curriculum. Exception would be if the pilot is already an experienced PPL and is familiar with the Club/FBO, or in the case of a young person has a close family member who is a professional civilian pilot and can provide oversight on training and progress.

I don't know much about Coast, after my time. SAA is also a good school in the area (at KSEE).

I'd recommend visiting several schools, and make sure you get to talk to current students in an unrestricted environment (ie not with staff present). You'll get the unvarnished truth that way.
