Depends where in Denver you live but Front Range Flight School at FTG is decent, finished some training there in March. Plenty of older 172s and a 182RG which I flew. CFI availability was great. Airport not as busy as BJC or APA.

Aspen of course is great but pricier with newer equipment, same with mcair. Alliance down the street is fine too but they didn't have a complex airplane at the time. Not sure if they have one now.

Alliance now has a Piper Arrow in the fleet. It's avionics are on the outdated side, but Garmin 430s and L3 Lynx transponders usually find their way into club aircraft eventually.

The Arrow (amongst others) is currently up for sale. The new owner may choose to base it elsewhere if they sign a leaseback agreement.

The good thing about Alliance (I think it's been mentioned before) is that being a member there means you're a member at the other two locations (Aspen, Western Air) as well.

Another vote for Front Range Flight School. It's a great affordable flight school with good instructors. Great airport as well. No waiting from taxi to take off and a practice area that you can practice in without worrying about anther traffic.

FTG is a really nice airport. Great blend of airspace quirks to keep you on your toes and laid back pace to make it all (airspace, ATC) fun.

FTG is very laid back, just close to the Bravo. APA is closing a runway soon for the summer which will cause chaos.
