My opinion, is that the most inexpensive does not equal the best training. Like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". I would highly recommend Aero-Sphere Flight Training out of KLMO(Longmont,CO) I recieved my PPL over 20 years ago & went to Aero-Sphere for my IR ticket & I can honestly say I never had the highest caliber of training like I received at Aero-Sphere! The owner & chief instructor, Shane, has over 16,000 hours & he isn't looking to just use you & build time and move on to the regionals. He truly is interested in you as a person & help you become the safest, proficient, professional pilot at a resonable cost. You deserve giving him a call & see for yourself. I traveled 2 hours round trip for my instruction and it was worth the trip every time! PM me if you like to more chat about my experience.

I second RMFS. They have a large fleet so you can choose between a range of cessnas or pipers, good instructors that have been there awhile and you'll be able to schedule airplanes pretty easy, sometimes right before you fly.
I'd recommend any place you go you try to fly at least 2 to 3 times per week. So look at how crowded the flight schools are. Probably the hardest part is finding a CFI that would be available for all the times you want to fly. I know for a fact that at RMFS you'll hardly ever run into aircraft availability issues.
Also go find a place with a good simulator.

When I was looking for a place to do a BFR, my first attempt was Flights, Inc as recommended by my IP at ATP. When no one there seemed interested in returning messages, I expanded the search and found Alliance out at FTG. I liked what I saw and I'm still happy. I simply didn't get around to visiting McAir.
