Default Instrument written vs CFII written?

Is it still the same test bank of questions for both tests? Trying to decide if it's better for my student to take both at the same time or to just concentrate on the Instrument test. Thanks

I think the CFII may have some helicopter question on it.
But it's been almost 9years since I took it

Took my IRA got an 88% on it. went straight out to my proctor, asked for the FIA test, got a 92% on it. They are identical pretty much.

Dug out my old ATP course outline and the both written exams were tentatively scheduled for the same day.

I can't see a downside to taking both of them at the same time.
