iPad and Headset Recommendations
Going to start my flight training within the next couple of weeks. Already have my private but have not flown in quite a few years.
Need a new headset that will carry me to the regionals. I've heard good things about the Bose and the Dave Clark DC One X. Not sure which way to go on that. As far as an iPad, the standard iPad 4g is only $20.00 more than the Mini and has a faster processor. Thoughts?

I have the DC X One headsets, i like 'em. It was a toss up between those and the A20's that everyone has. I like flying with the mini, its almost the same size as a knee board and app. plates so it fits nicely in my bag. Plus with limited room in a 172 ill take any extra space i can get. I would recommend that you get an iPad with cell service. For some reason the iPads without can not pick up a GPS signal in the air. One of my students had to buy the dual GPS. I have been told that you can dl an app to have it work.
