Post Looking for flight school

Hi Im new, Im from Mèxico City and my dream of all life its to become a commercial pilot, but in Mèxico the major part of the school are so bad, they have very bad manteinance, and currently bad aircraft and the course isn`t the best.

My family told me about study in US and I like the idea, but I dont have any idea of schools at your country, I hear about Alpha Tango but I don`t find their web page, also I find Encore aviation at LAX (Van Nuys) but here in this forum I was reading that its not a good idea.

I like Miami, Los Angeles and NY so Im looking schools near there like 50 or 60 miles, if you can tell me about some schools and recomenndations jaja and reviews Im gonna be very grateful

Cheers !!!

Emiliano,

Here are the flight schools I think are the best suited for what you are looking for;

Universities:

University of North Dakota

https://erau.edu/

https://aviation.osu.edu/

https://education.okstate.edu/aado

Flight Academies:

https://www.flightsafetyacademy.com/index.php

https://www.usaviationacademy.com/

https://www.l3airlineacademy.com/

I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any question please don't hesitate to direct message me.

Cheers,

Enssayons

On websites like www.airnav.com you can search by Airport for flightschools.
You will need to find what is called a 14 CFR Part 141 school as they are the only ones allowed to train foreign students. You also need an M1 visa for the duration of your training.
Either that or enroll in a university with an aviation program and you can stay 4-6 years on a F-1 ( academic) visa.

You might also consider an F-1 visa university program like Tarrant County College's partnership with US Aviation:
