Default Recent Info on Falcon Aviation Academy

Hey all,

I am currently finishing up my commercial in icy Maryland and looking for locations to build time and instruct my tail off to make it to the regionals. I have looked into places such as American Flyers, Epic Flight Academy, L3, and Treasure Coast Flight Training in Florida. I have recently stumbled across Falcon Aviation Academy in GA and was curious as to the recent good bad and ugly for instructing there. I have already looked through the previous threads to find as much info as I can. I see they now offer a $5000 signing bonus, $1000 paid for finishing intro and then $500 each 100 hours dual given.

-I was curious as to what their over all pay scale looks like, what kind of paycheck should I expect to take home each month... (I understand its a CFI gig, but I still have bills to pay), and what the cost of living in that area was like.
-Does Falcon provide their instructors with housing, or should I start apartment hunting now if I decide to relocate there?
-How many students are each instructor given?
-Realistically how many hours can I expect to fly each month and would that mean working 7, 6, 5 days a week?

If anyone who has recently been through their CFI program or instructed there would rather PM me than post publicly that is fine as well. Thanks in advance for any information!

Also how does Falcon decide which location they send you? Would they be able to transfer you with little to no advanced notice? Which location do would you consider to be best and why?

(I understand its a CFI gig, but I still have bills to pay), and what the cost of living in that area was like. Start at $20/hr. with increases for II/MEI. COL is pretty low, depending on where you're coming from.
-Does Falcon provide their instructors with housing, or should I start apartment hunting now if I decide to relocate there? They have apartments that are pretty affordable, around $350 I believe? Depends on availability. Other options outside of Falcon are available. You'll share an apartment with other CFI's.
-How many students are each instructor given? As many as you are willing to accept.
-Realistically how many hours can I expect to fly each month and would that mean working 7, 6, 5 days a week? Again, this depends on how much you want to work and if you make friends with scheduling/dispatch. There are several instructors that are pushing 130+ hours each month.

Answers in red. The obvious downside is that you'll be teaching Chinese airline contract students in DA20's during the Georgia summer. They have a cultural tendency to not speak up when they don't understand, so you have to evaluate them differently than American students. I was offered a position there but turned it down to teach at my alma mater - Auburn. If you want hours as fast as practically possible, this is one of the best options. PM me if you have more questions.
