Overall it's probably still cheaper than your other options unless you get a huge scholarship to one of those schools.
Not a bad idea, might look into this now.

Ohio State. Best college experience, and best football program.

I'm right with you in trying to choose between WMU and Purdue. I'm a WMU grad, but I can also vouch for Purdue's program based on people I know that went there. UND has a great school and program, but the area was to desolate for me to really consider going there.

An important question to ask at any school you're looking at is when you will start flying. Many flight schools have seen increased enrollments and have a shortage of flight instructors. There are waiting lists to fly at some of these big name schools of up to a year.

Middle Georgia State University. Hands down one the cheapest in the country, brand new airplanes. Best flight school/university I have attended. Not to mention the same Delta Propel opportunity that UND and Embry offer.

Middle Tennessee State University. Also comparatively cheap compared to ERAU and UND and also has the Propel program.

My husband went to ERAU in Daytona. It worked out for him, because he had a ROTC scholarship, but let me just say, he definitely doesn't answer the phone when Alumni engagement calls
