Am I eligible to do Commercial Part 141?
Hello.
When I checked my IACRA it indicates that I finished my Private pilot license under part 61 and Instrument under part 141.
I finished them in 4 year degree university aviation flight major in Michigan.
And I recently transferred to CA (4 year university) and started Commercial training . Am I eligible to continue Commercial under 141?
I heard something about Instrument and Commercial has to be done at the same flight school under 141.
Thank you for your response.

No they don't have to be done at the same school.
Anyone is eligible to do any part 141 course (assuming they have the prerequisite cert). In some cases if you already have a lot of hours which can be applied to the part 61 requirements, 141 may not make sense due to repetition (depending on how many, if any, of the existing hours can be credited).
Where there might be a hangup is if you're looking for R-ATP eligibility. That does require completing both instrument and commercial at a part 141 university program which is approved for R-ATP by the FAA. So in that case both the school you did the IR at and the school you did the CPL at must both be 141 R-ATP approved universities. You also need to complete the degree at an approved school.
A local non-university 141 school would not give you R-ATP eligibility.
Also if you need to transfer credit for the academic degree, that would be up to the new school.
