Default multi time

Hi
I am military and need to get 50hrs multi time and live near DC. Anyone in the same boat and like to share multi costs to reach 50hrs or can anyone recommend options.
I meet all other ATP requirements.
Thanks

Word to the wise.

The safety pilot can only log time when the flying pilot is under the hood. So that means you have to subtract a few tenths on each end for taxi/TO/LDG.

Also the SP cannot log XC, since his logable time did not include the LDG.

For ATP purposes, one does not have to land >50nm, only navigate to a point >50nm, so if you are using the time for ATP requirements, a SP can log XC time.

I thought you only needed 25 multi if you get hired by a Regional. The 25 in the RJ simulator counts towards the 50 unless of course you are getting an ATP on your on dime then yes, 50!

I think not in this case because the SP did not perform, or was even a required crewmember, for the takeoff either. There was an FAA legal interp on this a few years ago, you can look it up but it came down to the way the regs are worded with respect to the definitions.
