List of Sponsorsed CFI Rating Schools

Hey all, I have 230TT with Multi IFR, looking to get my CFI ratings. I been coming across these sponsored CFI ratings that schools have been offering. So far it looks like

- Epic Avaition Academy - Paid CFI, CFII, MEI - 2500 billable hours
- Falcon Aviation Academy - Paid CFI, CFII, MEI - 1400 flight hours
- Flight Safety - CFI,CFII, MEI - 2 year min. Commitment
- LIFT (Republic)- Direct Entry to CFI
- American Flyers (?)

If there are any others that you know about kindly let me know. Wondering what are some of your opinions regarding these programs for someone just looking to start their CFI now.

I am a student at Falcon Aviation Academy now. There are a lot of CFI's here that took advantage of the contract option, and love it. CFI's are instructing 100-130 flight hours a month right now, so it will take no time to knock out the 1400 hours.

Don’t mean to sound snarky ( actually trying to help) clarify. The CFI (Flight Instructor) is a FAA Certificate (not a rating). There are category and class ratings that can be added on the Flight Instructor Certificate. US FAA does not issue “licenses” either.

Falcon seems to be the lowest time commitment. Essentially they take $10/hour out of what they would pay you. You put in 1,400 hours to pay off the CFI/I/MEI cert training. You can leave early and just pay them off the balance due, though you still need about 1,200 hours anyway. They claim that you will be getting at least 100 hours per month.
