Pipeline patrol to build hours?

Pipeline patrol to build hours?
When it comes to time building and the regional's do they look more at a guy who built his time as a CFI or if he flew pipeline? Or does it even matter as long as you got the hours?

If you'd asked a few years ago it would have been a different story.
That said, think about which background prepares you more to work with someone else in a teamwork or crew environment; towing a banner, or flying with a student. Which one rehearses the constant repetition of standard practices? Which one more reflects an airline cockpit?
