working at Phoenix East or Epic?
 

I’m close to getting my CFI finished up, and I’m looking around at places to work. I have a guaranteed CFI job at my school, but the winters here are awful so I’m looking at maybe moving south. Does anyone here have any experience with Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach, or Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna?

I know nothing about the QOL at any of them, but L3 at Sanford is offering a $1000 housing bonus per month on top of your regular pay.

Didn't work for either and my info is few years old, but based on it - neither of the first two.

I’m just looking around for Florida flight schools to CFI at, that’s consistent, easy scheduling, and has good maintenance.

I flew at Epic and I regret every hour of training I did there. Management is terrible. You can never talk to anyone in charge. If you have questions everything is an online form. Also, if you get sick it is game over;they will just keep putting you on the schedule and giving no show fees out the ass. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.
