Dan,

Do you have your 4 year degree? Are you serious about flying? Why not get into the military and let them teach you?

LAFF,

I have 2 yr degree... And yes... I am serious about flying... just found out I have a mild color deficiency so my medical certificate has a night restriction... Since it is mild, I am looking for an AME that administers the FALANT test instead of the ishihara to get the restriction lifted... Then go from there... I don't like the idea of military... Not for me. But I do plan on getting my 4 year degree while working for a regional and building hours if all goes well...

get your bachelors degree first, if you busted your ass, you could get your Bachelors in 2-3 years since you have an associates.

build time while working on that

apply ASAP, its a game of numbers and timing, you can never be too soon

Dan, I was kinda in your situation. I was working full time at a very respectable company and going to school full time for a BA in Business. My advice for you, (as I did plenty of research prior to starting a flying career) Finish your degree if you have the means to. I waited to start my flight training until I finished my degree, the main reason being that I'd have a plan B. I was doing real well in business and making real good money. The thing is with this industry now is that you must have a passion for it and not look to make a lot of money probably until your 5th year in. It all depends on what airline and what not.

As far as schools, I've done a lot of research in the past and I would not recommend Delta ConAcademy. I've had many friends get broke and not end up anywhere. Good luck!
