I just recently completed my CSE in Madison, SD (Riggin Flight Service). It was a great experience (minus the WX of winter in SD)! I am looking into pursuing my CFI. I would go back to Riggin in a heartbeat, but they don't do CFI. Love the fact they are friendly and the attitude of "you get in you get out!"

I have heard good things about Venture North Aviation in Minnesota and getting your initial CFI in 5 days. Pretty much you got to have the writtens done, FOI and AGI and have the spin endorsement.

The other place I have seen floating in forums is "Crystal Aero Group" in Florida. I don't know much about them except what their facebook page says. They look like a pretty good place as well.

Both seem great ma&pa places with examiners in sight. Anyone have info about them? Has anyone done CFI at these places? Time? Cost? And did anyone get job offers right away, whether at these places or elsewhere?

FWIW, Venture North is where Riggin sends their soon-to-be-CFIs and then they complete CFII and MEI locally when they return. I think Tanner said it ran roughly $3500 for him when he went. Not sure if that included plane or not.
