Default FlightSafety international

I'm in Florida for vacation right now and I went to FlightSafety International where a very professional person conducted a 2 hours tour all around the school showing us the facility, the fleet, classroom, etc etc. Very nice school with 0 incident on his history, fast peace course all inclusive from zero to instructor multi, airline mentality from the first day (their aircraft use a callsign like in commercial airplane, skysomenthing 000, I don't remember ) and the cost is ”only” 83,000$.
I loved the school, fleet and the professional that you can breath and it’s confirmed by a student but I would like to know your opinion guys
Do you have any reviews about the school? What do you think?

Great school all around from what I hear... if you have a big trust fund.

If you're paying for it, or your (middle class) parents are paying for it, or if you're going into debt there are probably less costly ways to get there.

I am getting all my ratings to CFII for 30k locally. Yeah, it may take 12 months, but I will not have crippling debt.

I don’t see how that is even possible. Flight schools generally charge around $130 and up for a rental. Let’s say you found a great deal and are getting your plane for $120. Lets see how that math works....

Just to get a commercial pilot cert is gonna require 250 hours. 30k divided by 250 means you’re paying $120 an hour for a plane, paying your flight instructor $0.00 throughout the entire process, paying $0.00 for your CFI/CFII training. It also only makes sense if you’re paying nothing for your checkrides and accomplish everything in the bare amount of time.

Where did you find a flight school that offers free flight instruction?

A 141 school does not require 250 hours.

Part 141 schools are also usually more expensive than part 61 based off of my experience.

I’m still left with the impression that someone is being less than honest with us quoting 30K a their overall cost to CFII.
