Default Documents for Multi add-on?

I’m doing an accelerated multi-engine add on to my CPL next week. Will the examiner need to see any logbook artifacts such as proof of aeronautical experience, or just the endorsement from the instructor? I don’t think there’s an experience requirement for the multi, so it doesn’t seem like he or she would need to see anything but the endorsement. If they do, I’ll start tabbing my logbook now to get it ready.

Thanks for the help. Hoping that I’ll get through the multi next week and be finished with the conditions of my CJO.

Probably better to put this in the training section.

However to the original question: you need you commercial certificate, your endorsements, ground and flight training log. If it’s a part 61 addon, it’s train to proficiency - no added hour requirements.

An examiner will typically want to take a look at that, at least the experience/training relevant to the rating in question and to see that your totals match the 8710.

He doesn't need to look at all the stuff for previous ratings which you already have. They might flip through out of idle curiosity but I wouldn't bother tabbing anything unless the training for your ME rating is not all on your most recent logbook pages (make it easy for him).

An 8710 on file with the FAA is a legal record of flight time... because it has been validated by an examiner. They usually like to see your logbook for that reason, but I suppose legally it would not be required if your endorsement was on a napkin or something.

Sorry about that. Thought I had, but got lost in Tapatalk. My bad.

Thanks for the input.

If you enter flight experience into IACRA the Designee is obligated to review your logbooks to validate that time.

Just did my muti check ride a couple of weeks ago. Tabbed my multi sign-off, most recent flight review, complex sign-off and high performance sign-off.
