These guys have a good track record. You need your own aircraft, or access to one.

I started my flight training around 5/15/19 and as of now 7/9/19, I have 27.5 hours. I could of moved faster but we lost many days from weather. Keep that in mind with your 14 day training. I have my pre-solo progress check this Wednesday (though I have been signed up for it for the last 5-6 hours of flying but there is a hefty back log for progress checks at the school.) I work full time and have been flying 3-4 days per week. I could probably fly 4-5 times. I am pretty mechanically inclined and was into motorcycle racing, dirt bikes, cars etc. always have had an interest in aviation and flying. I can tell you this, flying has been WAY harder than what I was expecting. I have gotten a lot better but it has taken longer than I was expecting to get to the point I am currently at. I fly out of a fairly busy class D airport. I would be vary of a 14 day program. Flying is complicated. You can only develop so much muscle memory in 14 days and remember so many things in that time frame. I’m at a 141 school and we go off the ground school from the “king schools” PPL program. I like the structure a lot. There is a logical progression of knowledge that you build on. I would suggest if you are doing the ground school yourself, get a popular PPL online program. I had bought the sports PPL program prior to starting at my 141 school. Good luck! |
As instructor my record stands at checkride on day 15...in a brand new C182 with G1000
The guy was mid 50’s workaholic biljonaire CEO. He had a second instructor give him more groundschool when I went home exhausted. |

The faster you do it, the faster you'll forget what you "learn".

Wow.... Maybe I just really suck. Lol.
Some days we did 3 and some days we did 4.5 hrs/day which is 3 x 1.5 training flights or 1.5 flight and 3hrs night or 1.5 training and 2.5 XC and any combination of. The limiting factor is how fast you can absorb and retain information. Kind of like your processor speed. This guy was off the scale. |
People like Zuckerberg, Besos and Gates are in a different universe compared to mere mortals.
The level of multi tasking in their brain is off the charts. My student was a European version of these guys. CEO and founder, on the board of a dozen other companies and part ownership in a couple dozen more. Taking 18 days off for his Private at an insane rate was like a year sabbatical to him. I wish I had 10% of his brain power. Nothing but respect. |
