The DA-20 has the suicide canopy and as far as I remember you can’t taxi with it open.
I’d use a laminated checklist as airscoop during taxi, yes I’ve lost one..
Plan your lessons, do low altitude stuff early in the day such as ground reference maneuvers and landings.
Do maneuvers such as steep turns and stalls at whichever altitude you find 65-70F.
Fortunately it’s a good climber even at speeds well above Vy so you can get some airflow through the vents.

somebody shared this on an arrow page on FB, says it helps a lot, guess it depends if you have a cigarette lighter you trust, but I fly survey at the moment and I'm considering getting one...
