Default Cost of PPL in the New York area

Just curious as to what others in the vicinity of NYC are paying for flight training, specifically PPL. Thank you

Its a loaded questions, but 10k sounds about right.

Numbers to keep in mind: Minimim to get a PPL is 40 flight hours, and about 60shs hrs for Instructor. Depending on how much studing you do on your own.

However, NY/NJ/CT is a busy airspace, is not common for pilots to get their PPL with 60-80hours.

Simtech has a Certified simulator in Midtown Manahttan, where you can practice during the weekday and go fly on the weekends.
