Where to go to finish training after IR
Hello all,
I am sitting at 220 hours with my PPL and IR.
I have decided to continue with aviation to go to the airlines. The next steps are CPL, CFI + II, MEL.
My local flight school is about to lose their only CFII. No telling when they will get another one. They are down to 1 CFI and he is booked solid every day. Looks like I'm going to have relocate if I want to do this.
Where would you all go? I am single with no kids. Could literally move anywhere.
Thanks.

Cheap and sunny. FL or AZ. Maybe SOCAL if if money isn't that big of an issue.
Although with a CPL finish up + instructor ratings you don't need a whole year, could go anywhere next spring and be done before winter rolls around again.

What City, State are you currently in? As the previous poster mentioned, lots of flight schools in Florida & Arizona.
I'd go sunny and warm, as winter is approaching (practically here for some states) and your CPL & CFI-A Maneuvers are all VFR.
Good Luck.

I live in Pennsylvania.
I'm trying to go somewhere that has an agreement with an AA cadet program. The cadet program pays you a $100 stipend for each 100 hrs you accumulate. Then at 1500 hours you start at the regional.
Most of the schools that have this agreement all seem to be ATP which I cannot do since I already have my IR (otherwise I would consider them).
I will also check out Florida and Texas. California is too expensive. I have enough saved up to cover the rest of my flight training plus living expenses, but not by much. It will also depend on if I can get a part time job in my career at one of these locations so I would give preference to that arrangement. But if not I'll go with the best opportunity to get me to the airlines as fast as possible.

Amerian Flyers, L3 Aviation Academy, & Phoenix East are 3 big names, that are in Florida and should be affiliated with Enovy (and many other Regionals).
If you Flight Instruct in Florida, keep in mind there is no State Income Tax. So that is a little extra $$$ in your wallet each payday.
If you need a part time job, try Uber or Lyft, it works out great for a schedule of 'work when you want to'. That way flying can be #1 priority.
