Associates Degree
 
How is an associates degree viewed by employers above the regional level? I have a local Pt. 141 operation and can get an AAS degree with flight hours in about 18 months. End goal is not a legacy, but would love Spirit, JetBlue, Frontier, etc. Does anyone have experience getting hired with an AAS degree but not a BS degree? PM’s are welcome if you prefer. Thanks!

It's points on the board and will count for something, but nowhere near enough for a legacy. Might as well, can't hurt and if you ever decide you need a four-year, you're half way there.

Flight hours/training & AA degree to get started. You can research a 4 yr degree down the road, if needed.
