Default Going to ATP/learn about time building

I am going to ATP flight training the first week in May. I know it is a fairly new location here in Tucson, AZ but i was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on this location. Starting in May will give me time to finish up my PPL and save up some money before making the financial commitment. I was curious how the flight instructor job is with ATP after training is complete? I would have no problem flight instructing but I am not sure if I want that to be with ATP, another flight school or try and get a different job to build time.

Why choose Tucson when you could go to the Phoenix area locations? Tuscon has always been considered a poor man's Phoenix.

I am choosing the Tucson location because I currently live here and I do not have to deal with moving or the issue of rent for the time being. I will ultimately move to phoenix but it makes much more financial sense to stay here for atp. I would also disagree about Tucson being a poor mans Phoenix, there is a lot more money here than you think there is.

Default ATP instructor

It was 20 years ago, but I liked being an ATP instructor. Lots of twin time and some in singles. As long as you can stand up for yourself it’s fine. Occasionally there’s pressure to fly when you shouldn’t, but honestly that’ll be the airlines anyway down the road so you might as well get used to it.

i always had students and the checks always cleared.
