I did poorly in highschool....
I'm 33 right now and I really want to complete a 4 year professional aviation degree that includes all of the flight ratings to CFI-I. I already have a good portion of the general studies required completed and the flight instructor said that I may be able to complete the degree in 3 years. My current college GPA is 3.1 and I plan on raising it higher, hopefully doing extremely well on all of my check rides.
Is my employment outlook completely abyssal even if I completely rock everything during my time at this college and with my flight training?

Do you have any flight training now? If not, how about training towards a private pilots license for starters?
Yes you could certainly start a new chapter. Some of us put other interests ahead of schoolwork in high school.
At 33 I think you need to get going with the flight training, max effort.

Getting my class 2 medical soon and then putting in my application to the university. And I can't start working towards PPL because it costs money that I don't have. The university works well for me because I can get grant money and federal student loans to do it.
