Default University and Flight school to become pilot?

Should I go to a university and then a flight school to become a commercial airline pilot? And how should I pay for that? It's pretty expensive and I am wondering how essential it is to go to a college before flight school to become a commercial airline pilot. Is flight school something that takes up the whole day, or could I do college and that at the same time? Thanks

Age now? What general area do you live? For the most part you need flight training, then hours, along with some level of college. There are a handful of ways to get started. Anything more than looking at planes costs $$$, a hurdle for many.

The important thing is to get started. A simple private pilot ground school course is a way to get the ball rolling.
