Talking Flight Simulator 2020

Anybody else madly excited about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 coming out in a couple of days? Fly anywhere in the world with real time weather...yes please?! I have a couple thousand saved up to buy a new CPU Flight Simulator setup.

It’s cheaper and less maintenance than a boat or private aircraft and definitely less than a new wife. But “madly excited”?

Not so much.

Good for you man. Nice you love it.

However I personally can’t think of anything less I want to do on days off than sit in front of a computer, playing airline pilot.

Man, most folks on this forum ***** about flying the real thing let alone Flight Sim.

I used to love Flight Simulator but after FS9 I can't justify spending the money on the computing power necessary to get the most out of the game. I had FSX but lost interest after struggling with low frame rates.

That’s my exact issue. I’ve got the will power but not the time or money to spend on a good computer. Maybe once I’ve got that first real job and graduate from instructing.
