I just did my multi at Action Multi Ratings in Ct. It is as advertised. A two day course, they get you done in two days. You take the checkride and you feel pretty competent in the seneca. Its not bad. You do need to study quite a bit beforehand, but if you are ready, its as easy as they say. Great instructors.

Anybody with recent experience/info doing commercial multi add-on at ATP?

Or experience with the ATP in Bowling Green, KY?

I got mine through ATP and instructed there after in Bowling Green. It is a very quick program but it's not that tough. They will send you a supplement with everything you need to know. If you do the program make sure you know that supplement when you show up and it will not be that tough, I was ready after a couple sim sessions and 4 hours in the seminole. Just make sure to know the flows/configs for all of the maneuvers and the systems. Nothing more frustrating than someone showing up for a fastpaced program having not looked at any of the study materials. ATP instructors do not have time to give hours and hours of ground while you are there. The only student I had that could not do it had all Cirrus time so he was unable to fly using the 6-pack and his hand flying skills were very much lacking bc he had constantly relied on auto-pilot when flying.

Bowling Green is a great place to train, it is a quiet uncontrolled field so no time is wasted bc of other traffic or getting in and out of the airspace. Last I heard they were not doing addons there anymore but that may have recently changed. Hope that helps and good luck!

I did instr, multi, CSEL, CMEL at ATP in Indy two years ago. It was a good experience and I would recommend ATP to others. Friends have done their ATP at ATP in PHX and speak well of it.

I got my Commercial-Multi with ATP at the Indy location (EYE) about a year ago. I was satisfied with the program, and thought my instructors were excellent. The only disappointment was that the Seminoles at the location were the older model.

I did mine in Tampa last summer. ATP is great if you have the money and are very good at self study.

If you decide to do it they will send you a little booklet for the Seminole that has most of what you will need to know about the airplane as well as the maneuvers you will need to do on your ride. Study that cold and chair fly your ass off before you go, trust me it will help tremendously.
