ATP Practical in Atlanta, GA

Good evening all-

Does anyone know a program/flight school in Atlanta, GA which would be able to offer an ATP practical checkride? I'm coming from an OCONUS military location to get my ATP-CTP and, unfortunately, the program I had lined up to provide the checkride is sort of flaking on me - I'm having trouble getting them to commit to a date. Wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to drop a couple grand and travel 22 hours by plane to get to a place to take this checkride! My ATP-CTP course is in Atlanta, so keeping it in the same area would be really beneficial for travel purposes. Thanks in advance!

Assuming you’re doing the CTP course at Flight Safety? Maybe they can incorporate the practical there? Although it will be quite expensive.
Trying to find a GA flight school that offers an ATP program is difficult to find. I know there are a few schools in FL that offer it. That’s sorta close…
ATP Jets in DFW offers it in their A320 sim, but you gotta bring a buddy (or ask them to find another solo student) to get the $8,500 price. If you go solo and they provide the seat support, price is double.
Best of luck.

On that kind of schedule you want to knock this out in a sim if you can at all afford it. Several reasons for this. First, schedule reliability is way higher than a flight school’s twin. Second, you are probably far more familiar with turbine aircraft than pistons, upping odds of success. Finally, sim facilities lose business rapidly if their clients do poorly on checkrides. Infer what you will from that.

I would venture to bet OP is going to the Delta ATP-CTP.

Off the top of my head there are a couple that can help you out...
Accessible Aviation, formerly of Columbus, MS has now moved to the ATL area, give Carl Nuzzo is the name of the owner.
Next closest is Jasper Aviation in Jasper, AL
Then the 3rd closest would be Mil2ATP out at Goldsboro, NC
