Looking in the NY metro area

Does anyone have any info on any schools in the NY-CT area?

I was considering American Flyers because of how fast I can get everything done but are there any smaller schools out there that I can look into?

Thanks

Where do you live? There are a bunch of places at Republic and more than AF at MacArthur. I'd shop around. AF probably costs more than many flight schools in the area. I got my PPL at Nassau Flyers. I thought the training was good but they were not cheap back then and sure they probably aren't now. Brookhaven may be worth a look too.

Ive rented out of Panorama on KHPN. The instructors there are excellent. And the service is really good. If you can drive 45/1 hour into Jersey. I recommend Wagner Airways in Lincoln Park Airport, small fbo, small airport, decent prices good instructors you can give it a shoot as for the prices out of KHPN are pretty expensive. Also dont look into Terteboro, I landed there once and it took me about 40 minutes back taxiing and holding for departure.

I say jersey might have the cheapest rate out of the tri-state area.
