Cool Sponsored Training

Hi, I'm new to this forum.

I've been really wanting to start flying for a long time. I"m currently 26, which in my book is kinda a late start for someone who wants to make ATPL.

Sadly my late start has to with funding. Most of my earnings are held up due to family responsibilities (dad's loans). I'm looking for a programme where an Airline will sponsor me for my training and then I work under some kind of contract or bond. I hear that there are programs like that available.

Keeping in mind that I'm a Sri Lankan national, is there anyone who can suggest a good place for me to try???

Most of the pilots here are USA types...we don't have airline sponsored training programs in the US. Many other nations do however.

You might also post on this website...there are a lot of non-US pilots here: http://www.pprune.org/forums/
