Pratical test study guides

Decades ago when i was competing my ratings I used ot have pratical test standards that i would use to study and mentally prepare for my practical tests. I would mark them up with notes on exactly what the examiner would be expecting. My brother is currently working through his rantings, and my books are long gone... is there any good info out there that he can use to prepare for his practial tests.

Thanks,
Art

You can get PDF's of the ACS/PTS for free from the FAA, or pay Sporty's $15 to print them for you

The PTS (practical test standards) were replaced with the ACS (airman certification standards). Download to your hearts content.

Pour over the Appendecies of the ACS. They provide gouges as to how certain tasks are to be accomplished by the applicant. Your instructor should be intimately familiar with them to prepare you for both the Knowledge and Practical prorations of the test. Good luck.👍
