Flight Instructor Interview Attire?
I did my training at Regional Airline Academy but unfortunately they do not need flight instructors right now. So I am looking for jobs at other schools in the Phoenix Metro Area. Does anyone know what kind of cloths I should wear for interviews? I have a complete wool business suit, but I’m not just dieing to wear it in 100+º Phoenix weather, especially since my car doesn’t have AC (people who think pilots have money are nuts).

I wore a simple white shirt/tie and khakis...haven't been turned down for a CFI job yet with that.

Slacks, button-down, and tie should work for a CFI interview.
Wear the full suit to airline interviews (even if it's hot out). |

Some guys here say that a gorilla suit is the best attire for a SWA interview.

I love that those guys have a sense of humor. They really are a cool airline. |
How much time do you have... and why are you even considering working as a CFI right now?
