After awhile you actually begin to predict actions before they happen. I had several students that would always ask "how did you know I was going to mess that up?" It just becomes 2nd nature when you get several hundred hours of dual-given. Another great moment is your first sign-off, including first solo, first check-ride. Great times, really rewarding!

Congrats!
What school / FSDO or examiner did you use?

I did my training under part 141 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. No DPE, but rather a check pilot.

I cannot wait to begin instructing!! I think it will be the neatest thing ever to take a regular civilian and teach them how to fly an airplane. Not too many people get to say they've ever done that.

Passed CFI on Tuesday (07AUG). Now looking for a place to teach. The FBO I have been flying out of, does not want to deal with part-time instructors. And I am not ready to give up my "day job".
