One other aspect of the program that is misleading is the flight time you receive. They advertise 200 hours but 50 of which is simulator. Granted you are able to apply the sim time towards your commercial rating. You also spend approximately 35 hours as a safety pilot on cross country's. You are able to log it pic, but you dont get the flight experience.

Yeah, it's always bothered me how they tout 190 hours multi. 50 of that is in a ground trainer and can't be counted as flight time. Kinda misleading, if you ask me.

The program has its flaws, as do any program. No one is going to agree on everything about the school because the university guys think the programs they attended where the best, and so forth with all the different places. Overall ATP delivers on what they advertise, I've seen it first hand. Ive seen crappy CFI's come from ATP as well as from university programs. As you can probably gather from my other post in this forum I do beleive that each school has its ideal candidates.
