Yeah, I had him for part of my commercial/instrument training.
As much as I like to give him crap, he's actually very good at the whole instructing thing.

That's awesome. I still talk to my PPL instructor sometimes, but I don't have much of a bond with my current instructor for my INST. It kinda sucks when you can't joke around or truly connect with your instructor. When I become a CFI, I'm going to be the best damn CFI I can be because I want my students to enjoy being in that small 172 with me, I want them to learn, and I want them to tell everybody how awesome their flight instructor is.

Check out http://flightaware.com/statistics/ifr-route/ to see what others are filling for any given routing.... Prevents that unwanted and annoying reroute when you get clearance

That's a good one there too!!!! My old company had a fltplan.com account, so I could use that to get the latest routing for the same type of aircraft also. I never used it to file/weather, but it was good for that as far as I really used it.
