Logging Flight Time

I have a question I am a student pilot there were some private pilots that came by and let us cost share witht them flying the mentor I am a student pilot with 38 hrs and have done cross country and solo I also had cross country endosement and solo endorsements is logging it legal ?

unfortunately you can not log it.

as a student pilot you have two options

1. dual recieved and not PIC (unless the other seat was a CFI then you can not use this option)

2. PIC which can only be logged if you are solo...which if you are splitting time then you can not use this option either
