Medical

Hey everyone, i am about to finish up my PPL. So I obviously hold a third class medical. I am going to continue the rest of my training at Ari Ben in Florida. Before i pull out the huge chunk of cash to do this with, i was thinking about going at getting a first class medical just to make sure i can pass. My question is what else do they do on a physical for a first class medical, and how much more expensive are they generally speaking? Thanks for the help!

When are you starting at Ari Ben, I start the 24th of Sept to finish up my ME stuff...I'll be entering with about 200 hrs single engine/instrument.......Ref 1st class medical if you are under (a certain age I don't know if it's 35 or not but I think it is) you Don't need an EKG........but if over it then every year or two till 40 then every 6-months when you get ur first class..........other than that, it's mainly just a dr physical......that's what i've experienced......

Someone else can help me out on the "ages" for the EKG!

I paid $125.00 for mine in Chicago.....
